Pinoom, whose friends and regulars call him "Peter" emigrated from Thailand 27 years ago. Peter has Thai cuisine in his blood as home cooking is a tradition endemic to most Thai people. Fast food has only recently breached the their borders

Pinoom's uncle was already here running a different Thai restaurant, when he came to the States as a boy. He learned both the restaurant business and English from his uncle.

Peter returns every year to his home of Dusit, Bangkok for a month or so to maintain the truest Thai influences to his cooking.
